The idea of designing management development for our management circle in a new form came about with our long-time companion and sparring partner Manfred Bouda as mastermind. We are in a good situation as an organization - we are successful in what we do - and there is a danger of leaving everything as it is. We deliberately chose Heitger+ because we wanted to take advantage of this upward trend: to gather strength, to become better as a group, to try out new things and to remain fit for the future.
The young consultants who accompanied us did a good job in terms of both content and process; as 'digital natives', they come across as particularly authentic and were able to convince us with their experience in the use of agile and digital tools. Thus, they were able to carry us along as 'digital migrants' to try out new things ourselves. You could compare them to a good mountain guide team: they demanded preparation from the group and were available for dialog and queries. They created a safe framework and encouraged self-organization. But when the slope is no longer so steep, you are sent off on your own. We tried out design thinking methods, for example, and then designed an operational meeting among department heads according to Holacracy. That worked because the tools and instruments were presented in a way that could be connected and adapted to our organization - overall a very valuable experience.-

We were looking for a consultancy that could not only support us in the implementation and suplly the extensive project with good staffing on the one hand, but also set similarly high standards for its own work in terms of content and bring with it a great deal of experience and expertise in the fields of corporate development, executive development, change and support for major processes. We particularly value Heitger+'s expertise in dealing with different target groups, as well as their state-of-the-art approach. Highlights are the project team meetings with the project manager Manfred Bouda and the whole staff, where many different backgrounds and perspectives come together. All participants have learned a lot from each other so far, always with a lot of fun and engagement. The main facilitators of the platform - Manfred Bouda, Hiltrud Drackert, Antonius Greiner and Pascale Grün - are all very experienced and professional facilitators who ensure that the events go well. In close coordination with us as project managers and with many reflection units in the pre- and post-processing as well as in between, they have mastered all constellations, situations and dynamics very well. You could compare it to team sports, where the team is always questioning itself and going together.-

Since then, organizational development projects have been thought of continuously - this gives us a boost. From goal setting to implementation, the recurring reflections (What is status quo? What are the challenges? How do we deal with them?) were helpful. The highlight for me was the opportunity to share. Be it at the marketplaces, where I could get tips and tricks from already very experienced users of agile methods, or simply chatting with like-minded people during a break.

This worked out great - and was very helpful. the number of participants - 45 – was challenging as well as getting into the complex matter of our business quickly. The consultants were lightning fast, very confident and did a great job. Their guidance of our workshop had the effect of continuously maintaining focus and concentration in the group. Above all, they asked the right questions when we were stuck. This contributed to great clarity and got to the heart of what needs to be followed up and how. Most importantly, it created an awareness in the group. Already two weeks after the event the first measures started, that was never the case before!-

What I appreciate about Heitger+ is their flexible, ``systemic`` response to what is going on in the group. Not knowing on the first day exactly what will be done on the last day was not easy for our logic culture at the beginning. In the meantime - after the third event - we have confidence in this approach. The team was very prepared and in a good flow. What I find special about Heitger+ is the combination of systemic know-how and understanding our business. We need someone who can think along with us. The Heitger+ team understands what is important at a given moment and can inspire people with an idea. Together, we succeeded in convincing our international team that the ``big picture`` is something worth working for. The event was a great success.-

Finding acceptance in the 'biotope' of researchers and developers is challenging. They succeeded well. Further, because they didn't just want to push their concepts through - no consulting phrases (to which my team and I are strongly allergic), but an uncanny flexibility to take up topics spontaneously and use existing energies. The agenda was changed 'on the run' as needed, which is something I have never experienced before. Accordingly, the product was not a consultant product, but a Merz product.
They challenged us 'athletically'. Our collaboration was one of the best consulting projects I have ever experienced - and I have been in the business for over 20 years.-
