Campaigning for Change

Campaigning is a way to accomplish a goal without a lot of resources, without formal power and without hierarchical advantages. The main purpose of a campaign is to gain an advantage on a matter that cannot be influenced by proposals, commands, negotiations, or monetary power.
However, exactly that is the situation a lot of executives that are responsible for the initiatives of change find themselves in. The right embedment of change and the substantiation of it cannot be “commanded” and often also not negotiated.
Campaigning causes commitment by surprising acts and by taking serious account of all stakeholders.
